Administrative History

The Rising Sun Stove Polish Company existed from 1864-1914 in Canton, Massachusetts. It was started by Elijah Morse, who manufactured the polish, which was partially composed of graphite mined and shipped from Ceylon. He believed in advertisement, and many advertising/trade cards were published and distributed.
