Biographical Note

Joseph R. Perry was born in England about 1840. He married Elizabeth [Eliza] Hall in Warwickshire, England on August 12, 1862 and they had two children. He was a druggist and editor and publisher of the Indiana Pharmacist. He died March 19, 1903 and is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Administrative History

Perry's Pharmacy was operated by Joseph R. and Ross W. Perry in downtown Indianapolis, at Market and Pennsylvania Streets. There was a note in the Indianapolis Evening Journal, on July 13, 1874, advertising the company.
