Biographical Note

John E. Peltz was born in 1853 in New York State to parents who had been born in Germany. He married Anna Knollenberger November 22, 1882 in Wayne County, Indiana, and they had three children. He worked as a merchant tailor. Anna died May 29, 1912 , and he died in 1929 and is buried in Lutherania Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana.
