This collection includes Ward Siegrist's World War II ration book no. 3 and includes 4 pages of unused ration stamps. No. 3 ration books were replacement books and were distributed in 1943 by the United States of America Office of Price Adminstration.

Biographical / Historical

Ward F. Siegrist was born January 1, 1907 in Akron, Ohio to Howard and Esther Siegrist. He married Cecelia McDonald (1906-1984) on April 21, 1933. He and his wife moved to Indianapolis in the early 1970s and moved to Warsaw, Indiana in 1983. Mr. Siegrist passed away at the age of 81 on January 7, 1988.
