Biographical Note
Wesley Younger was born about 1830 in Kentucky to Garrett and Polly Younger. He served in the 140th
Regiment, Indiana Infantry, as a private during the Civil War. He was married to Susan Jane Younger and
they lived in Lawrence, Indiana. He died Jan. 22, 1865 and is buried in Bedford, Indiana.
