Biographical Note

Wesley Younger was born about 1830 in Kentucky to Garrett and Polly Younger. He served in the 140th Regiment, Indiana Infantry, as a private during the Civil War. He was married to Susan Jane Younger and they lived in Lawrence, Indiana. He died Jan. 22, 1865 and is buried in Bedford, Indiana. "Younger, Wesley". 1850 United States Federal Census.
