Biographical Note

Rowen W. Rains was born during October 1824 in Kentucky. He moved to Greenfield, Indiana and was registered for the Civil War draft. He married Mary and they had two daughters. Mary died and he lived with his daughter Rosa E. Keller in Huntington, Indiana in 1880. He is listed in the Huntington City directory in 1911. No death date was available.
