Biographical Note
James M. Pritchett was born to Dr. and Mrs. John M. Pritchett in 1836 or 1837 and grew up in Centerville, Indiana. He was graduated from the naval academy at Annapolis in 1857. He died in 1871 and was buried in Centerville, Indiana.
