Biographical Note

Madge Evelyn Pickard was born on November 20, 1916 to Thomas and Delphia Pickard in Indiana. She and R. Carlyle Buley published The Midwest Pioneer, His Ills, Cures and Doctors in 1945. She was married to a Mr. Palmer and died a widow, March 2, 1996 in Henderson County, North Carolina.
