Scope and Contents
This collection includes the trustee's record book for Jackson Township, White County, Indiana containing entries ranging from 1867 to 1880. Also included is a copy of "Mansion of Memories," the script for the Wolcott Centennial Pageant that was presented in June 1961. Written by Dale T. Sheets and directed by Dolores English, Peg Martin Correll, and Ralph Helseth, the pageant script was photocopied and had numerous handwritten notes added to it prior to its duplication.

Historical Note
White County, Indiana was established in 1834 and named for Colonel Isaac White, one of the volunteer soldiers killed at the Battle of Tippecanoe. The county has twelve townships: Big Creek, Cass, Honey Creek, Jackson, Liberty, Lincoln, Monon, Prairie, Princeton, Round Grove, Union, and West Point. Cities and towns in the county include Monticello, the county seat, and Brookston, Burnettsville, Chalmers, Monon, Reynolds, and Wolcott.
