Scope and Contents

This collection includes correspondence, lists, and newspaper clippings ranging from 1930 to 1951 regarding Indiana newspapers and Indiana history, including 1931 letters about the early American Eagle newspaper published in Paoli, Indiana; a list of newspapers with circulation numbers from 1934 to 1944; an article published in the Indianapolis Star on November 4, 1951, is entitled "Where The Spirit of the Lord Is, There Is Liberty," explaining the newspaper's changing motto; and numerous 1930-1932 clippings of the column, "A Hoosier Listening Post" by Kate Milner Rabb.
