This collection includes lists of exhibits with notations of where they were sent from the Library Art Club of Indiana in Indianapolis, Indiana ranging from 1916 to 1917 regarding the small exhibits on nature, industrial and fine arts sent to members of the organizaiton, namely Indiana libraries.

Administrative History
The Library Art Club of Indiana was organized in 1913 in large part by the Art Committee of the State Federation of Women's Clubs. Libraries joined the club to receive a small exhibit on nature or fine and industrial arts every two to four weeks, as well as a more permanent educational exhibit. Regional institutions such as the John Herron Art Institute, the Departments of Art at Indiana and Purdue universities, and various individuals helped to organize and collect exhibits for the organization to circulate to member libraries. The club was modeled after the Library Art Clube of New England.
