Scope and Contents

This collection includes twenty stamps issued by the Indiana Publicity Bureau probably in the 1950s. No date is given on the stamps. Among the images are the World War Memorial, Abraham Lincoln, the Indianapolis 500 Speedway, French Lick and West Baden. The perforated stamps advertise Indiana's parks, roads, culture, agriculture, and history. There are four sheets of stamps stuck together. Only one stamp ("Lakes, Forests, Streams, Fishing, Hunting, Outdoor Sports") appears to be missing.
