Indiana Public Welfare, "Indiana Resources for Domestic Relations Problems" report

 Collection — Folder: S1581
Identifier: S1581

Scope and Contents

Law students Laura Hull and Joan Anthony wrote this 29-page typed report, dated May 21, 1958. The carbon pages are on onion skin paper. The purpose of the report was to provide community resources for lawyers handling domestic relations cases. Ms. Hull and Ms. Anthony organized the resources into ten geographical areas. Public welfare "dates back to the Elizabethan Poor Laws of 1601." On page two, they give the seven areas in which the Department of Public Welfare functions. Along with state and national agencies, they give contact people and some phone numbers. The narrative portion of the paper is pages 1-6, with pages 7-end listing places to go for help with domestic relations problems.
