Historical Note
Club Eleven was founded by Mary E. Studebaker, entertainment chairman of Bosses Night of the Indianapolis Legal Secretaries Association, on April 30, 1960 during a tea party. The eleven members of the committee became eligible for membership by virtue of their activity on that committee.
The name, Club Eleven, honors the original group wihich worked on the original production, the gridiron skit of 1960.
