Biographical Note
John Wynn was the eldest son of Mr. James Wynn and Mrs. Isabella Hogg, born on 1797/12/04 in Stokesley, Yorkshire, England. Wynn married Rachel Goudie on 1820/05/25 in Franklin, Indiana, and they had six children together: Elizabeth, Rachel, James G., Joseph A., Mary, and Pamela. Wynn worked as a surveyor and map maker and died on 1861/09/06 in Decatur County, Indiana.
