The collection includes four volumes, two each from the Georgetown Presbyterian Church and the Logansport Presbyterian Church, dated from 1829 to 1930. The volumes provide information on memberships, administrative activities, and related events. The Logansport record book (1829-1881) also provides some financial information about the church. Miscellaneous items in the collection include a receipt, letters, research notes, and a primary memory verse, dating from 1924 to 1935 and undated.

Historical Note

A committee of the Presbytery of Indianapolis organized the Georgetown (Brown County) Presbyterian Church in 1845. After not having a minister for 3 years, the church closed in September 1937. The Logansport (Cass County) Presbyterian Church was officially organized in January, 1831. Prior to this date, there was a meeting in December, 1829 recorded in the church record book.
