These 19 xeroxed pages list women's names, costs, and measurements. On page 12, the writer notes "Sulphur Hill, Indiana" at the top of the page, and then gives dates on which family members started on trips. She wrote: "The big 'wash out' March 23rd 1898. War declared April 21st 1898. Lillie Neibert started for Iowa Sept. 14th 98. Dilbert and I went to house keeping April the 25th 1899. March 21st 1906, a big snow on enough that the mail man came in a sleigh. Papa arrived at Shelbyville Sept. 24th, 2 p.m., Monday, 1917." Some of the entries listing items purchased for dressmaking give the date of purchase.
