Scope and Contents
This collection includes vehicle registrations from the State of Indiana ranging from 1927 to 1935. They are for two men: Elmer Watts, 824 Riviera Drive, Broad Ripple, and Oscar Watts, Carmel. Also included in this collection is a program for the Broad Ripple Mistrels Fall and Winter season 1931-1932 in the Broad Ripple neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, which was put on "for the benefit of their relief fund." M. A. Klusmann drew the cover design of the booklet in 1931. His advertisement on page 3 states that he "is engaged in the business of electric wiring and repairing." The Broad Ripple Lodge is #643. The participants in the program are listed among the many advertisements of local businesses. Among the instruments played were banjo, mandolin, guitar, bones, jug, and Jew's harp. The songs in the performance are given on page 9, and include: "Good Times Are Coming" and "Stay Out of the South."

Historical Note
The Broad Ripple Lodge is a Masonic lodge founded in 1902 and located in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis, Indiana In order to raise funds to weather the Great Depression, the lodge put on a minstrel show at Broad Ripple High School on November 19 and 20, 1931.
