Scope and Contents

This poem, entitled "The Kind Acts Club," was written by Walter N. Vanscoyoc on January 6, 1938. There are six stanzas with four lines in each stanza.

The first stanza is thus: "The Kind Acts Club I'll join tonight, and start tomorrow doing right. I'll help my neighbor down the way, I'll try to do kind acts each day."

The last stanza is thus: "When I go forward to the goal, I'll do my best to lift each soul, that I find struggling on my way, I'll so some kindly act each day."
