Biographical Note
This collection contains photocopied letters sent to Tharp family members telling about family life and community events that are occurring, ranging from neighborhood parties, sports, weather, etc. Christian H. Tharp was born around 1846 in Pennsylvania and was the oldest of six siblings. He married Sophia Tracy in 1874 in Franklin, Indiana. It is unknown when he died.
