Biographical Note
Paul E. Taylor was born on October 17, 1919 to Burt S. and Augsut May (Wlker) Taylor and lived in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and became engaged to Miriam (Mimi) Neiman. Taylor enlisted in the U.S. Army on December 30, 1941 and was stationed at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis and transferred to Camp Roberts in California. He was deployed to Australia and the Pacific Ocean Theater in late April 1942. Taylor died in New Guinea while delivering a message on December 6, 1942.
