Scope and Contents
This collection contains 7 volumes of letter books and account books of Charles T. Williams. The volumes include correspondence, receipts, and copies of papers filed in the Marion County Probate Court (1897-1930). Also included are estate papers for the Hightshoe (1900-1917) and Hanes (1900-1924) families, abstracts of title and a survey report (1911-1918), and a personal letter sent to Mr. William Bosson from Clara S. Hope dated February 24, 1931.

Biographical Note
Charles T. Williams was born May 8, 1876 at Richmond, Indiana to Watkin H. and Mary E. Williams. He was an Indianapolis attorney at Claypool and Claypool and then had his own private practice. He never married and died on January 26, 1930.
