Biographical Note
Dorothea J. Snow was born in Tennessee and graduated from the Fort Wayne Art School in Indiana, hoping to become an artist, in 1927. She starts working as an art teacher, but soon discovers her love for writing as well, which leads her to writing and illustrating children's books.
