Biographical Note

Ebenezer Sharpe was born in Kentucky and moved to the newly founded Indianapolis in 1926 and established a school in the Presbyterian Church on Pennsylvania Street. He worked as a land agent as newly acquired land was sold off to developers. He was also a member of the Indianapolis Literary Club and a banker.
