Scope and Contents

This collection includes three copies of speeches from Herod L. Scotten in Hendricks County, Indiana, ranging from 1939 to 1944. The first, “School Days”, was delivered at the annual reunion for Franklin Township School District on 10 September 1939. The second, “The Supremacy of Law”, was delivered at a reunion at Franklin Township School district on 19 September 1943. The third, “A History of West Lawn School District”, was delivered at the annual reunion of West Lawn, Greenvalley, Ticher and Greenwood Schools on 17 September 1944. There are 18 items included in the folder.
