Biographical Note
John R. Scott was born on 24 January 1860, in Indiana, son of Isaac and Victoreen (Kitchen) Scott. He and his wife Elmedia married in 1889, and had two daughters. The family resided in Madison and Delaware Counties, Indiana. He died in Salem, Indiana, on 2 Jun 1934.
