Scope and Contents
This collection includes correspondence written in 1850 and 1859. The four-page letter was written from Philadelphia on September 10, 1850 to "My Dear Brother" from Phillip Price, who was a Quaker.
The second letter was written to "My Dear Mother," on February 28, 1859, from William Price, in Cincinnati. He wrote: "Poor Fanny [last name illegible] -- whom thee may recollect as the forlorn old woman residing in the cottage on the hills -- was killed yesterday on the Hamilton and Dayton R.R. track just outside of the city."
