Biographical Note/Historical Note
Marvin W. Pershing was born in January 15, 1849, in Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana. M. W. Pershing was editor of the Tipton Advocate, Fort Wayne Daily Gazette, the Muncie Times, and other papers throughout Indana. Pershing authored the "Life of General John Tipton and Early Indiana History", published by the Tipton Literary and Suffrage Club, 1900.
