The collection contains a letter from J. Bruce Murr to Governor Roger D. Branigin on September 29, 1965 about the gift of Jonathon Jennings’ (Indiana Governor 1816-1822) desk to the State of Indiana and a sworn oath from Murr’s father J. Edward Murr. The oath contains information about how he came to own Jennings’ desk, a description of the desk, and some information about Jennings.
