Biographical Note
Valentine Morgan was born in Kentucky in 1817. He moved to Vigo County, Indiana, in 1829 and there married Frances Ann Thompson on January 20, 1842. Morgan and his wife had 10 children. He died March 29, 1880, and was buried at West Lawn Cemetery, Vigo County.
