Biographical Note
Joseph Wood Lewis was born in Pennsylvania on September 18, 1814 to Joseph and Lydia Lewis. He was a farmer and a conductor for the Underground Railroad in Indiana. Joseph was the great-uncle of Albert E. Andrews (1882-1952). He died on November 3, 1904 in Pendleton, Indiana.
