Biographical Note

Solon Robinson was born October 21, 1803 in Tolland, Tolland County, Connecticut, son of Salinda and Jacob Robinson. Solon Robinson married Mariah Robinson, with whom he had 5 children: Solon Oscar, Allen Downing, Josephine Salinda, Charles Tracy, and Leila Gertude. Solon Robinson died November 3, 1880, and is buried at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana.
