Biographical Note

Joseph Harold Kiracofe was born February 13, 1901 at Elkhart, Indiana to Rev. Joseph Harvey and Emma Kiracofe. He married Grace May Barnes (1901-1952) on October 11, 1923 and they had a son and two daughters. After the death of Grace, he married Hattie E. Moyer on July 6, 1957. He worked as a dispatcher for the New York Central Railroad and owned and operated an insurance agency. He was a resident of Osceola, Indiana for 50 years and served as president of the Penn Township Advisory Board and as a member of the Osceola Town Board of Trustees. He died on June 3, 1975.
