Biographical Note
Mary Ann Michna is a painter and photographer who's work reflects her observations of a disappearing American landscape. A native of Chicago, Michna has lived and worked in Indiana for more than 25 years. She worked as a media specialist at the Indiana State Library for 15 years (1990-2005) and now works out of her studio in New Harmony, Indiana. A graduate of Purdue University and the Pratt Institute in New York, her artwork has been exhibited throughout Indiana and nationally.
