Biographical Note

Charles Hazelrigg was born June 22, 1858 to Harvey G. and Mary Hazelrigg in Boone County, Indiana. He moved to Oklahoma in 1891 and worked as an assistant postmaster and as editor of the Oklahoma Christian newspaper. He was also an ordained minister and lived in Mulhall, Oklahoma with his second wife, Laura, until his death on April 28, 1940.
