Biographical Note
Samuel K. Harryman, of Mooresville, Morgan County, Indiana was born on January 12, 1826 in Hendricks County, Indiana. During the Civil War, he was a lieutenant in the 70th Indiana Regiment, serving in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas (1862-1865); aide-de-camp to General William T. Ward, commander of the 1st Division, XI Army Corps (1864) and the 1st Brigade, 3rd Division, XX Army Corps (1864-1865). He died on April 12, 1877.
Margaret (Maggie) Moore was born on May 22, 1833 and was the daughter of Samuel Moore, founder of Mooresville, Indiana. She married David Fogleman December 30, 1869 and had one daughter, Ida. She died on August 15, 1907.
