Biographical Note

Charles Walcott Follett was born in 1882 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He joined Charles M. Barnes' company, C. M. Barnes and Company in Illinois as a stock clerk in 1901. In 1908, John Wilcox became the primary stock holder and the company was reorganized as C.M. Barnes-Wilcox Company. Follett became vice president and a shareholder in 1912.
