Biographical Note

Joseph Fifer was born between 1800 and 1805 in North Carolina and had a sister Mary. He married Nancy A., with whom he had seven children, including Isaac. He lived in Kosciusko County, Indiana, died October 4, 1851 and is buried in Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.
