Biographical Note
Howard Alton Eilar was born to Jess H. and Grace Eilar in 1918 in Indiana, the younger of two children. He was graduated from Ball State University with an A. B. in science. He taught at various schools in Indiana and was the object of a short story, called "Howard A. Eilar's Christmas Gift". He was married to Vivian E. Shock, and they had three daughters. He wrote four books, including "Just writ", "What is man?", "Jesus, Father of Jehovah", and "The Final Testament". He died March 26, 1972 in Anderson, Indiana.
