Biographical Note
Howard Alton Eilar was born to Jess H. and Grace Eilar in 1918 in Indiana, the younger of two children. He was graduated from Ball State University with an A. B. in Science. Eilar taught at various schools in Indiana and was the object of a short story, called "Howard A. Eilar's Christmas Gift." He married Vivian E. Shock, and they had three daughters. Eilar wrote four works, including "Just Writ," "What is Man?," "Jesus, Father of Jehovah," and "The Final Testament." He died on March 26, 1972, in Anderson, Indiana.
