 Collection — Folder: S261
Identifier: S0261

Scope and Contents

This collection includes hand-written and typed papers by Howard Walton Clark, which were written in 1927 and donated in 1948. Four articles are entitled "Utricularia Inflata in California, with Some General Remarks Concerning the Bladderworts." Three of the articles are hand-written and one is typed. A one-page hand-written article is entitled "A Study of Fresh-Water Pearls, Part I, Field Investigation." A two-page, hand-written letter dated March 26, addressed to Barton Warren Evermann, President of the California Academny of Sciences in San Francisco, is about his experiments with fish. There is a small black and white picture of "the vestibule of a bladder." A little note in pencil says: "Good stuff; very well written and very interesting. "Science" is a good place to publish it. BWE [Barton Warren Evermann] Miss Arnold will type it if you wish."
