Biographical Note

Dale Carter was a parcel post carrier at the Frankfort Post Office, retiring in the late 1950s. He was born to William or Willard and Margaret Carter on May 3, 1893 in Indiana and was one of 5 children, all sons. He married Pauline Best, with whom he had one daughter. He died April 26, 1970 and is buried at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, Indiana.
