Biographical Note
Mary Evans Negley was born to David Negley and Martha Lambert, who were married Nov. 12, 1809, in KY. She had nine siblings, including Lucy, Thomas and Cynthia. She married Crawford Bell May 29, 1845 in Vanderburgh County, IN. She died Oct. 24, 1916.
