This collection contains several poems written by Bannon. One of the poems is in memoriam of Ernie Pyle shortly after his death in World War II. The other poems express Bannon’s nostalgia for his home state of Indiana.

Biographical Note

Clinton E. Bannon was born 28 April 1896 in Terre Haute, Indiana. His wife’s name was Alice and she was born circa 1884. Clinton Bannon died in Kentucky in May of 1974.
