Scope and Contents

This collection contains two items. The first item is a receipt from the Western Prince Baking Powder Company dated July 11, 1892. It states that the purchaser, Alvie Alexander, will soon receive the dozen cans of baking powder that she ordered, and that she has been placed on a list to receive her free bicycle. The second item is a letter from the Indianapolis Portrait Co. to an unknown recipient on July 5, 1906, which states when an ordered picture will be delivered to the household.
