This collection includes a marriage announcement and certificate, an Andrews High School commencement program, and photographs from the Boswell family, as well as other families in Huntington County and various cities, including Warsaw; Fort Wayne; Wabash; Rochester; Peru; and Marion ranging from circa 1890 to 1910 regarding family and school life.

There is an oversize marriage certificate for rew J. Boswell and Louisa A. Ulsh dated November 6, 1881.

Biographical Note

Andrew J. Boswell was born around 1855 in Huntington County, Indiana. In 1880, Andrew was a physician in Antioch, Indiana. He married Louisa A. Ulsh on November 6, 1881 in Huntington County, Indiana. They had one child together, Hazel.

Hazel Boswell married Carl H. Thomas on August 23, 1909 in Andrews, Indiana. Hazel died on July 11, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan.
