This collection contains the marriage license of Oliver Otis Watson and Sarah Irene Fatout and 6 photographs. The images were taken in the early 20th century. At least two were taken in Indianapolis between 1904 and 1905. The subjects of the photographs are: Florence Fatout, Robert Watson, Eunice and Ruth Brundrett, and Pearl Fatout Adamson. The largest photograph is of the Fatout-Hosbrook reunion in Indianapolis on September 5, 1914.

Biographical Note
Members of the Fatout family first moved to Marion County, Indiana in 1835. Around the same time there were members of the Hosbrook family moving to or already living in Marion County, Indiana. These families have connections to each other in many ways. Both families moved from Ohio to Indiana in the early to mid-19th century. Members of the Fatout and Hosbrook families married each other giving the two families solid bonds. In 1914 there was a reunion of the two families at Riverside Park in Indianapolis.
Oliver Otis Watson was born on January 25, 1880 to Franklin and Mary Watson. He married Sarah Irene Fatout in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 10, 1901. Sarah Fatout was probably born on March 18, 1876. They had one child together, Robert. Oliver passed away in May 1966 and Sarah may have passed away in February 1972.
Pearl Fatout Adamson was born on February 13, 1878. She married George T. Adamson on September 22, 1906. Eunice and Ruth Brundrett were the daughters of Edwin B. and Mary E. (Fatout) Brundrett. They were born October 8, 1896 and October 3, 1900, respectively. Robert O. Watson was the son of Oliver O. and Sarah I. (Fatout) Watson. He was born on July 26, 1904.
