Scope and Contents

This collection includes correspondence as well as photographs, postcards, legal documents, and writings created by members of both Carr and Sargeant families. Early correspondence is primarily addressed to Carrie B. Sargeant prior to her marriage. Additional correspondence consists of letters from Michael Carr other members of the family to Carrie and Cyril Carr. Later correspondence largely consists of letters from Cyril S. Carr to his mother and father from Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana and from La Belle, France during World War I.
