Indiana State Fair exhibits photographs, circa 1930-circa 1955

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 2

Scope and Contents

From the Collection: This collection includes black-and-white photographs from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and its predecessor, the Department of Conservation, in Indiana ranging from 1921 to circa 1970 and undated, regarding the activities of the state agency, its personnel, and the resources under its oversight. Some of the photographs appear to have been used in a publication, possibly the department's periodical, Outdoor Indiana, with a few images featuring locations in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and California. The artifact photographs, taken by Ken Williams circa 1930-1970, primarily consist of political memorabilia such as pins, medallions, ribbons, pipes, and embroidery created circa 1860-1912, as well as pottery and glassware.
