Scope and Contents

From the Collection: This collection contains Lyndsay Brown’s papers from the Indianapolis High School Alumni Association, his account of the Ohio River flood in 1937, and information from The Old Seminary Boys Group. Also included are papers of Ignatius Brown regarding road construction in the Pleasant Run area of Indianapolis circa 1898; and Hiram Brown's papers on water wheels and mills in Indianapolis.

There is also an Alumni Society of the Indianapolis High School record book with entries ranging from 1874 to 1883 and a photograph album of unidentified people, probably members of the Brown family, circa 1860-circa 1870.
