Scope and Contents

From the Collection: This collection contains the business and personal papers and correspondence of Samuel Moore ranging from 1823 to 1953. The papers include information on Moore’s dry goods store, indentures, deeds, transportation expenses for goods, stock certificates, and investment papers. Also included, are family correspondence, a diary, correspondence regarding state and national politics, the Whig Party, and the work of the Indiana legislature.
